The crucial DNA results on the front door were reported to be expected last Monday. In her Article 'Door is Clue to Killing' Lucy Panton reported " fast track results on DNA samples taken from the door are expected tomorrow. A police source said: " The door holds a lot of information and any DNA found can be dated within 12 hours of when it was deposited. If the killer opened the door or let themselves out without gloves DNA transfer will be apparent. Samples have been removed from the door and a lot of work is being done on timings of when they were left ".
