So many theories and so many thoughts as to who commited this dreadful crime. Jo Yeates who had everything to live for is dead and the police seem to be baffled as to when she died, why she died and who killed her. I do however think they believe it is someone known to Jo.
Jo had been drinking , she was merry, twas the season to be jolly, her defences were down.
Jo and that damn missing pizza. If the last text to a friend she had not seen for sometime is true , Jo was looking for company but at the same time if she was texting I am baffled as to why she did not text Greg to make sure he was OK, the weather was dreadful and surely she must have worried if he was safe.
Did Jo know of a neighbour whose wife/girlfriend was maybe away , she bought a pizza and decided to spread some 'good year cheer 'with a man who was alone. If this should be the case the man would not come forward for two reasons, his wife/girlfriend would not be happy knowing he had spent the evening with Jo and he is the last person to come forward NOW and claim to have eaten the pizza with Jo. Jo left his home alive and arrived safely to her flat, the evening spent together being completely innocent. IF this were to be the scenero this man must come forward and be assured by police he will not face the treatment Mr.Chris Jefferies has had to endure. The pizza in this scenario would play no part in Jo's death. It would be a frightened, innocent man being afraid of the police and wrath of his wife/girlfriend BUT with vital information.
There seem to be no witnesses to Jo returning to the flat ,or Greg for that matter. The weather was bad Jo had complained of headaches according to Greg...had she told workmates about these headaches? The lack of contact between the couple complicates the case because the police have no timeline. Jo's frozen body being no help to forensic as to when she died. If Jo spent sometime with someone Friday evening he will be desperate to help the police BUT now too afraid he will be a suspect and have his name splashed across the British tabloids. Someone may be in between a rock and a hard place...
I repeat there is no evidence Jo died that night...she may have spent the week-end cuddled up in her flat enjoyed a drink of cider...was the drink flat , had the lid been left off to show the fizz had all but gone? this may show how long the cider had been open.
I still believe it is possible for a certain party to have committed the crime on Sunday evening.
The cat holds the key and how dirty was the flat when police arrived, did they smell urine from two days of the cat being enclosed or had Greg cleaned the flat and the police only have his word ? had the windows been left open to remove the smell of cat faeces.
Jo dressed in the same clothing means nothing as a certain person could have dressed Jo in her Friday outfit making it appear she had died that night. Whoever did this has been very clever and looks like they have got away with the perfect crime.
