Greg found no sign of Jo IN THE TIDY FLAT ? Bristol News have been very good reporting this case, first time I have heard Greg returned' to a tidy flat ' ? does this imply Jo was alive and spent the week-end tidying the flat ??????

No sign of a return to normality on street where victim lived

A MONTH has passed since landscape architect Joanna Yeates was last seen alive, and in the road where she lived there is little sign of normality returning.

Outside the large Clifton house which incorporates the ground floor flat she shared with boyfriend Greg Reardon, two police community support officers remain on duty, even though forensic teams are no longer examining the premises.

Many flowers have been placed in memory of the 25-year-old, who went missing after an evening spent with workmates on December 17 and whose snow- covered body was discovered at the side of Longwood Lane, Failand, on Christmas Day. She had been strangled.
TV crews and journalists are also still on the scene in quiet Canynge Road, just a short distance from busy Regent Street and the shops which Miss Yeates was known to have visited after leaving her colleagues in the Bristol Ram pub on Park Street.

Her route home is likely to have taken her past Christ Church, where a book of condolence has been opened.

The church was open again yesterday so people could add messages, light a candle and sit quietly, with welcoming volunteers there to greet them and even make them a cup of tea or coffee.

But anyone stepping out from the church could instantly see, across the green, the police mobile unit put in place to reassure local residents and act as a point for anyone to give information that could help the murder inquiry.

Police officers are also using the unit as a base to patrol the locality – now a familiar sight since what started as a missing person inquiry turned into tragedy.

Miss Yeates left the Bristol Ram and her colleagues from local firm BDP on Friday, December 17, to walk home at 8pm via Waitrose on the Triangle and Tesco Express. She was reported missing by Mr Reardon, 27, when he returned home from a weekend in Sheffield two days later and she was nowhere to be seen, despite her purse, keys and mobile being in the tidy flat.

Telegraph Quote:
"We had grave concerns based on what was in the flat. We knew she had not gone of her own volition. We came to the conclusion that it was very unlikely that she would have been found alive.
"The state of the flat indicated that she'd been abducted. Jo and Greg were quite untidy and we knew she was planning on tidying up on Saturday.
Greg had spoken of Jo's headaches, she may have spent the week-end AFTER tidying the flat in bed with a raging migraine...no one else has mentioned these headaches !!!!!..Greg may have arrived earlier than expected on Sunday...Greg may have at somepoint seen the text messages from Jo to Matt on Jo's phone and a row followed....anything is possible...
