The New Jersey 'tanning mom' who made headlines over accusations that she took her five-year-old daughter to a tanning salon has said she loved her Saturday Night Live spoof.
Patricia Krentcil's exposure to sun booths was the butt of jokes during the late-night comedy show's Weekend Update with Seth Meyers.
And speaking to the New York Post after the sketch, Krentcil, who admitted she watched the whole three-minute segment starring actress Kristen Wiig, said she found the show 'hysterical'.

She added: 'If you think about it for a second, Iraq and Cuba we’re involved in now, but they care that I tan.'
In the sketch, Meyers 'interviewed' Wiig, who had plastered herself in fake tan and was wearing a tight leather jacket and white flowery headpiece to mimic the New Jersey woman's look.
The skit begins with the imitation Krentcil being introduced with a billow of smoke around her.

She said to Meyers: 'Hi Seth, sorry about all the smoke. I just came from the tanning salon.'
Meyers questioned the woman, who often had to stop during the skit to gasp for air because she got 'a little dried up,' about allegations that she took the young girl to get tanned.
The faux Krentcil denied any wrongdoing and said that tanning should only be done by 'responsible adults'.

'Because you may not know this Seth, some people over tan,' she said to laughs from the audience.
The woman called her look average in another joke: 'OK, what you see here - this is normal.'
The sketch went on to highlight the real-life Krentcil's comments that people who judge her for her tanning are fat, ugly and jealous.
In the skit, the Krentcil character said: 'I can't blame them for being jealous. I am alluring in a way they'll never be. Trust me, there are plenty of men in New Jersey who would love to snap into this Slim Jim.'
The actors went on to compare Krentcil's look to that of a baseball glove.
'Dried up': The faux Krentcil, who was introduced surrounded by a plume of smoke 'from the tanning salon,' gasped for air during the sketch because 'the air seems very dry'

At the end of the sketch, the fake Krentcil shows the audience a 'trick,' in which she puts a piece of bread between her thighs. It came out toasted and the woman exited the stage eating the browned bread.
